Milk Allergy
An abnormal response by the body's immune system to milk and products containing milk. Cow's milk is the usual cause of milk allergy, but milk from sheep, goats and buffalo also can cause a reaction
Guten Sensitivity Screen
This tests to see if a person is sensitive to gluten; a mixture of two proteins found in some cereal grains, especially wheat.
Amylase
Test measures the amount of this enzyme in a sample of blood taken from a vein or in a sample of urine. Normally, only low levels of amylase are found in the blood or urine. But if the pancreas or salivary glands become damaged or blocked, more amylase is usually released into the blood and urine. In the blood, amylase levels rise for only a short time. In the urine, amylase may remain high for several days.
Lipase
A specificblood test that is given to check the condition of the pancreas and see if there are any abnormalities in the organ, which can indicate certain pancreatic conditions like pancreatitis. The test measures certain enzymes in the blood which can be of normal levels or can be abnormal, either higher or lower than they should be.
